The Eye Witness was our second exhibition at The Container. It run for the month of April 2017 and was a multisensorial experience created by Artsoul Kojo.
The illustrations exhibited represented the spiritual entities that influence our day to day lives... these figures interact and create a point of contact via esoteric astral activities by the artist, who also considers himself a "shaman", to manipulate and monitor their surroundings.

Curated by founder Stefania Manfreda, the very first exhibition at The Container Accra was a fun and quirky collaboration between high energy clothing brand Yevu and our home base Lokko House.
Recreating a typical local provisions store was the aim of the game. How? Using similar techniques as did 80s/90s Ghanaian studio photographer, Philip Kwame Apagya. His hyper-real dramatisation of domestic life on handpainted studio backdrops inspired both the Yevu Clothing Dec 2015 campaign as well as our installation.
