Danso Awuah-Asante best known as Artsoul Kojo, is a Ghanaian contemporary artist whose art is an infusion of esoteric and spiritual concepts that channel an endless cast of subtle entities and personalities. His elementary shapes are astral projection tools represented through art are made to interact with the imaginations of the human psyche, laying bare how one can manipulate the world through symbolism.

​His illustrations represent the subtle entities that influence our day to day lives... these figures interact and create a point of contact via esoteric astral activities by the artist, who also considers himself a "shaman", to manipulate and monitor their surroundings.

Self-taught, Artsoul Kojo began painting and creating art as a way of dealing with his mental health issues. His work fuses aspects of storytelling and abstract poetry with pop-art visual references. 

Artsoul currently lives and works in Accra.​
